Privacy Policy

Effective August 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Mazin Submersible Technology, Inc. ("Company," "we," or "us") processes information when you use Darkstar Duel™, DarkStarDuel.com, and related online services (collectively, the "Service").

1. Current scope

The current Service does not offer user accounts, subscriptions, payments, advertising, behavioral analytics, or chat. We do not ask for your name, email address, or payment information to play. We will update this policy before introducing features that materially change these practices.

2. Information processed automatically

When you visit the Service, our hosting and security provider may automatically process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, requested URLs, request time, referring page, approximate network location, and security or diagnostic events. This information is used to deliver the Service, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and maintain security and reliability.

When you request an online match, the matchmaking service processes a randomly generated client identifier, game protocol version, transient match identifier, connection status, and WebRTC offer and answer data. Matchmaking data is used to pair compatible players and establish the WebRTC connection. The matchmaker does not receive the subsequent game simulation or control stream, but it may issue short-lived relay credentials to the participating browsers.

3. Peer-to-peer multiplayer

After matchmaking, online gameplay uses WebRTC. Traffic passes directly between the two players' browsers when their networks permit it; otherwise it may pass through a Cloudflare TURN relay. A direct connection may reveal network addressing information to the other player's browser. A relayed connection sends gameplay traffic through Cloudflare but does not give the matchmaker access to game state as application data.

4. Cookies and local storage

The current Service does not set application cookies or store account identifiers in browser local storage. Cloudflare may use essential security mechanisms when needed to protect the Service. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

5. How information is used

We process the information described above to:

6. Service providers and disclosure

Cloudflare provides content delivery, DNS, security, serverless computing, logging, WebSocket matchmaking, and STUN/TURN connectivity for the Service and processes technical information on our behalf. During a direct match, network information and gameplay traffic are disclosed to the matched opponent as described above. During a relayed match, Cloudflare also carries the encrypted WebRTC transport traffic.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect users or the Service, investigate fraud or security incidents, or complete a corporate transaction. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. Retention

Transient matchmaking state is maintained only as needed to establish or recover a connection. Operational and security logs may be retained for a limited period consistent with our diagnostic, security, legal, and service-provider configuration needs. We retain information longer only when required by law or reasonably necessary to resolve an incident or protect legal rights.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect the Service and the information it processes. No Internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

10. Your choices and rights

You can avoid online data processing by not using the Service. You may also use single-player or same-device modes without establishing a multiplayer connection. Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you rights concerning personal information, including rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain information about its processing. We will respond to verified requests as required by law.

11. International use

The Company is based in California, United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where Cloudflare or participating peer devices operate, subject to applicable safeguards.

12. Changes

We may update this policy as the Service or applicable law changes. The revised policy will identify its effective date. We will provide additional notice when required by law.
